Merry 1st Christmas To Me!

My first Christmas was such an amazing experience! I enjoyed all the time with my family and really enjoyed surprising Nana and Pops' side of the family! They had no idea we were going to be in Oxford for Christmas and then we just showed up! It was a lot of fun. Santa also came to visit me and brought me some really cool toys! I heard the story of the baby Jesus for the first time and now I will always know what Christmas is really all about! My first Christmas was such a blessing and the good news is, it's not over for me yet. I'm heading down to my daddy's side of the family this week to celebrate Christmas with them!

Shots and Stuff

I was sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed like a big boy!
Watching football with daddy
Here I am getting my first shot...no tears...
Second shot...still no tears...
Third shot...LOTS OF TEARS!! Poor me! :(
I slept all the way to Oxford after getting my shots. I like to spit bubbles now, too!

Two Month Check-Up

Today I went for my two month check-up with Dr. Greer. Everything went well. I weigh 14 lbs. 8 oz. and was 24 inches long!! I'm a BIG boy! Dr. Greer says that mom should continue doing exactly what she's doing because I'm growing so well. I also had to get some immunizations. That was NOT so much fun. The first one I got to drink, so it wasn't bad. Then the mean nurse lady stuck me in the left leg with the first shot. I didn't cry for that one. Then she jabbed me in the right leg with the next one. I still didn't cry. Then, she got me with the third shot. And boy, she got me GOOD! I screamed my little head off! I screamed and cried so hard that I wouldn't breathe and mom and dad had to blow in my face. I didn't cry for long, only about 30-40 seconds, but those were some very painful seconds! But, overall I did well and I survived...I even got the bandaids to prove it. Unfortunately, I have to get another set of immunizations in two more months. And then some more at six months old, and then it'll be over! Thank goodness, because I do not like shots! Mom took some pictures of me (I don't know why she wants to remember this terrible event) and she will post them later! Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Nana and Pops came to visit me on my first Halloween. Pops bought me this HUGE pumpkin and cut and cleaned it so that we could have a photo shoot. Nana found me a costume that would fit me. I'm a skeleton, if you can't tell. This is me sitting inside the pumpkin.
I kind of look like I'm going to rob a bank with my beanie on my head.

Happy Halloween, everybody!

Here's a better look at my skeleton costume. Sorry my eyes are so scary, but it is Halloween. :)

Fall Fun

Me and mommy fell asleep...she has to help me hold my paci in my mouth. I'm weak.

Mimi came to visit me and she bought me this pumpkin!

See, I'm pointing at this pumpkin because I want you to look at it! :)

I'm laughing at my imaginary friend in the mirror. No one else can see him, but he's a funny guy!!
