Rice Cereal!

After my 4-month check up, the doctor said I could start eating some rice cereal. I really like it because I get to be messy and it's something other than milk! Here are pictures from my first food experience...

Oh, and this is a picture of me, mommy and daddy with Dale Murphy. He came to speak at the AU baseball banquet. He was a super-nice man! You can't really tell, but I'm wearing my Braves outfit just for Mr. Murphy!

I'm a BIG ole boy!

Today we went for my 4-month check up and I am really BIG boy--16 lbs. 8 oz. and 25.5 inches long. The doc says everything is great and I'm doing things a 6 month old should be doing, like almost sitting up by myself. We are probably going to start feeding me some rice cereal at night just to get me ready for real baby food when I am 6 months old. So, we'll see how that goes...I'm sure mommy will post some pictures. Oh and I had to get two more shots today!! :( I cried just a little bit, but it wasn't as bad as the first shots. Things are great and I am a healthy baby!

I'm 4 Months Old Today!

Today is my 4 month old birthday! I can't believe I've been here four whole months! And I slept from 8:15 p.m. till 8:00 a.m. without waking up one time last night! Mommy and daddy were so proud! I have been sick for a few days and had to go the doctor Monday. They said I have RSV which is some kind of respiratory virus. It makes me cough and wheeze and make my nose stuffy! I've had to do these breathing treatments with a nebulizer. I don't like them so much, but mommy says that it will make me feel better, so I cooperate. At the doctor Monday, I weighted 16 lbs. and 8 oz.! I am eating about 5.5 oz. of milk now and I'm growing out of my clothes before the day is over! I am laughing and trying to talk all of the time. I'm learning how to play with toys and I love my Johnny Jump Up! It lets me stand up without any help. I am definitely enjoying my life and I love my family so much! Happy 4 months to me! :)

P.S. I have to go to the doctor for my 4 month check-up next Monday. They will have to give me more shots, so be looking for that post! I'm sure I'll cry again!

Dancing to the "Apache" song

We were at the Auburn basketball game and the "Apache" song came on and daddy helped me do the dance...some people don't know the dance that goes with that song, but mommy said they do it on the show "Fresh Prince of Bel Air." It says, "Tonto, jump on it!" And I don't know what that means, but it's a fun dance! And sorry that it's sideways, but mommy couldn't straighten it up, so just turn your head slightly to the left and enjoy! :)

Smiling is My Favorite!

I have learned to smile for real this time!! I smile all the time these days. And I know when mommy and daddy smile at me because I smile back at them! Here are a few pictures of me showing off my adorable smile and just some of me lookin' good! :)
